The Pre-Coming Out Party

Please come and celebrate the pre-coming out of Still Here! Still Queer! Now What?

With six months until publication, we’re throwing a party to give you a taste of what’s to come.

This is the perfect middle-age party. Everyone gets a seat, there’s a wee break in the middle of the event and you’ll be home in time for the News at Ten.

Hosted by Neil Hudson-Basing, with a fabulous talk from Abi Fellows, Literary Agent at DHH Literary Agency & Soraya Nair, Editor at Trigger Publishing on Queering the Path to Publishing

+ plus other special guests to be confirmed.

Of course you’ll also hear from the author, Paul Taylor-Pitt on why this book is needed, and he will be reading a piece written especially for this event.

There may also be surprise giveaways!

Paul in Conversation

Hosted by The Gay Professional Network

GPN hosts  a social & business networking event followed by an optional dinner every 4th Tuesday of the month except in August and December  at  The Civil Service Club, a safe place with very affordable food and beverage.

Join us for an evening of Networking: Connect, learn, enjoy and build lasting social & professional relationships.

Attendees tell us they increased  their turnover from £500 to £24,000 by networking at our events, access to funding in excess of £25 million was also made available to our members, it is good to network!

Every month, we welcome various speakers.

In March we welcome Dr. Paul Taylor-Pitt, an Organisation Development Specialist, Coach, Mentor and Writer. This October, his first book “Still Here! Still Queer! Now What? A Guide to LGBTQ+ Wellness and Wholeness” is published by Trigger Press. Drawing from 100 interviews with middle-aged LGBTQ+ folk, the book invites us to move from mid-life crisis to mid-life confidence. Paul will read from the book, share his insights from the writing process and hold space for all your mid-life Q&As.

Members: Free

Non-Members & guests: £15 (early bird, £10)

At the door: £20
